Balance Challenge
A 5-day online challenge to practice playfulness while finding stability in chaos, and flirting with falling.
Do you know this situation?
You step onto one leg. Something shifts, and before you wrap your head around it, your body responds by either wobbling, getting stiff, or falling.
That moment — small and unstable and for some people, quite scary — is where balance actually lives. Wobbling, flirting with falling, non standing still is the curriculum of a balance practice.
And this where our upcoming 5-day-challenge begins!
You will get fresh prompts to work on your balance beyond standing on one foot while you brush your teeth. And if you feel like continuing the work, you can also join my movement membership The Creative Body. We will dedicate the whole February to balance and imbalance practices.
Our focus is to spend 10 minutes everyday feeding our system with balance ideas - little talking and loads of practice. You will
- learn to pay attention to how your body responds to balance and imbalance;
- play through different balance positions and movement situations that inspire your body to respond
- explore how to organize the body when instability arises;
- practice staying with the wobble;
- develop confidence through repetition and undoing.
Each day, you’ll get:

Who this is for:
This challenge is for people who are curious about themselves.
People who have a movement background, people who have little experience.
People who are less interested in tips and more interested in process.
People who want to understand how learning happens in the body.
If you’re looking for quick fixes or impressive results, this will likely feel unsatisfying.
If you’re curious about staying with subtlety, repetition, and uncertainty, it will feel like the perfect fit.
How it works:
- We start February 2nd and go until February 6th
- We and play and balance for 10 minutes a day, either with me live on Zoom, or with the recordings I will send everyday to you via email
- We will meet from 11.30 to 11.45 AM (CET) via ZOOM. Please make sure to arrive in time.
- You can share your reflections with me per email, or stay completely silent. You belong either way.
