My name is Mariana Hilgert. I am a dance and movement teacher and performer with a Ph.D. in Translation and Dance.
My work is devoted to creativity.
And I know how frustrating it can be to feel stuck and unsure of how to [re]connect with one's own creative self.
With over 20 years of experience teaching dance and movement I've learned this: moving together is an effective and profound way to step out of resistance and fear into creativity and expression. Health, confidence and joy are inevitable collateral effects.
The Creative Body is how we do it here. A space to cultivate creativity through movement in community. So that you can feel empowered and confident in your body. So that you can dance whenever and wherever you want. So that you remember that in you, there is art too. No matter your age, background or physical conditions.
Mariana's approach is sensitive, playful and very much liberating - both for the body and the mind. I would recommend signing up for her classes if you want to feel connected to your body and to exercise in a non-competitive, thoughful yet joyful way.
